Nashville homes for sale with formidable fireplaces
We’re about to list a new-construction home in Nashville that has one of the coolest fireplaces we’ve seen in a while. More on that soon.
But it cemented a little bit of an obsession with our team. We’ve been on a roll of listing and showing Nashville homes with particularly stunning fireplaces. And — so what if we’re about to dive into summer — we’re feeling inspired, and wanted to spotlight how much a fireplace can bring to a space.
There’s a lot of aesthetic power there — a fireplace can really make or break a room’s look, as a design focal point. There’s also a lot of flexibility, since, between the mantel, the surround and the firebox, there are ample opportunities to do something eye-grabbing (or, unfortunately, cringe-y).
Added bonus (that’s really the point, ultimately): They’ll give you something to gather around on cool fall and winter Nashville nights, too.
Below, a few homes on the market in Nashville now (including several Radius listings) that have fireplaces that fired up our inspiration:
3622 Brush Hill Rd.
Nashville, TN 37216
$550,000
Log-cabin coziness in the heart of East Nashville isn’t all that easy to find, which is a big part of why we love this home (a Radius listing) in the Brush Hill area of Inglewood. On two wooded acres, the home is like a Gatlinburg getaway, but minutes from all the Eastside stuff we love. The classic brick fireplace, rough-hewn log walls, beams and rustic door in this space, in particular, really drive the vibe home.
267 A Riverside Dr
Nashville, TN 37206
$550,000
There’s a lot of new construction in Nashville right now, but not that many builders go above and beyond with details. We’ve been really lucky to work with builders who do, and this East Nashville listing of ours is a good example. Along with really cool shiplap, this fireplace has a surround crafted out of reclaimed slate from a pool table — a really stylish focal point for the space, and a cool conversation piece too.
607 Garfield Street
Nashville, TN 37208
$879,900
The city views from this Germantown/Salemtown home are pretty spectacular (we have a thing for good Nashville city views). Especially cool that you can get a peek from the large covered deck, outfitted with this clean and cozy fireplace.
3624 Westbrook Ave
Nashville, TN 37205
$995,000
It’s really the whole package in this 1945 Richland/West End home — the vaulted beadboard ceiling, the stone, the chunky wood mantel… and the real selling point: This setup is a part of the master bedroom.
2512 Belmont Blvd.
Nashville, TN 37212
$2,500,000
It’s hard to pick a favorite fireplace in this stunningly renovated historic home in Belmont (also a Radius listing). The warm wood surround and bright white tile make this one in the living room a real contender, but the multiple traditional brick ones are tough to resist, too. Then there’s the built-in patio firepit out back… Isn’t hard to grasp why this property was a Preservation Award Winner.
1139 Battery Ln
Nashville, TN 37220
$2,800,000
In much-desired Oak Hill, this one really delivers on the fireplace front. There’s this warm stone setting in the main living area, a similarly rustic and rugged fireplace in the screen room, a sleek concrete setup in one of the masters, plus a commanding stone fire pit on the patio. You’ll want for no fireside coziness here, certainly.
